When spring arrives, the sneakers come out as fast as the will of the runners ensnared all the winter. Just as in the gym there are certain rules to follow to avoid injuries, running also has some aspects not to be omitted to make sure you can run all summer long.
Studies show that 50% of runners get hurt. The most common injuries are Achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, stress fractures and patellofemoral syndrome. The main cause of these injuries is that the riders are doing too much, too fast. Too much volume, too much speed and too much training which causes a mechanical stress higher than the tolerance of the body.
